God Loves You!

Romans 15:13 says, "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost" God wants us to have hope in this life because of who He is and what He will do in our lives!
First, if you are not a Christian or you have never fully surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you need to be saved, to be born again. How? You must admit you have sinned. Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Because you have sinned, even once, you are separated from God and spiritually dead. However, God has made it possible for you to have eternal life through Jesus Christ because Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin so that you can be forgiven. To receive that forgiveness, you must confess your sin to God and repent which means to turn from your sin and have a change of mind about it. Romans 2:4 tells us, "the goodness of God leads you to repentance" and when we do this, God will change our lives! How, by doing what Romans 10:9-10 says, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you need to be saved, then do what this says and God will receive you and give you eternal life!
In addition to this, God wants to give you victory over all sin and set you free from anything that holds you in bondage. If you have accepted Christ as your Savior and need victory over some form of sin, then here's what you need to do: First, acknowledge what you are doing and admit it to God. Ask Him to forgive you and to set you free from this. Once you have turned it over to God and repented, then follow these steps:
1. Recognize & avoid temptation (Proverbs 4:14-15)
2. Run from the situation when you are tempted (2 Timothy 2:22)
3. Read God's Word for direction & strength (Psalm 119:9-11)
4. Reckon upon & consider the fact that God says you are dead to sin (Rom. 6:11)
5. Reflect upon the truth that you are alive unto God (Rom. 6:11)
6. Redirect your will & choose not to yield to sin (Romans 6:12)
7. Receive the Holy Spirit's power to deliver you & yield yourself to Him (Matthew 6:13; Romans 6:13)
8. Replace evil thoughts with good thoughts (Phil. 4:8; Col. 3:2)
9. Rebuke the devil if necessary & tell him to leave you (Mat. 4:10)
Also, if you continue to fall & can't get victory over it:
10. Reach out to another strong believer who will hold you accountable and pray for you (James 5:16; Galatians 6:1-2).
